Support the People Who Show Up

Not because you have to. Because you want to.

This Is Not a Hard Sell

SBCoFFA has been taking care of its own since the 1950s. We are not a charity and we are not going to pretend otherwise. We are an association of firefighters who look out for each other, and occasionally the right business or community member wants to be part of that.

If that is you, we are glad you are here.

Where Your Support Goes

Every dollar contributed goes directly back into the association and the community programs it supports.

Every department has an association.

Not every association has a community behind it.

Benevolence and hardship assistance for members
Local 935 and the benevolence fund will come together to support our members financially, if ever a situation arises where we can meet a need.
The Craig Alder Golf Tournament
This charity began when Craig Alder and his son were injured off duty and were unable to return to work. This tournament supported his family through it all. The golf tournaments have now grown into many charities that continue to support our members in times of need.
Children's Fund
Formerly known as the Spark of Love, our County Firefighters have donated their time to support the children in their local areas, making sure no child went without during the holidays. You may have witnessed rooftop fundraising and fill-the-boot over the years! Even though Spark of Love has retired, our Children's Fund is still providing for the children in San Bernardino County.
Fontana Fire Museum and historic apparatus
We have a historic fire museum located at Station 71 in Fontana. We donate funds to help restore equipment and keep the museum alive. This preserves the history of San Bernardino County Fire and its apparatus.
Scholarships for members' children
Beginning in 2027, we will be awarding members' children with college scholarships. We will choose up to 4 students each year to receive financial assistance during this very exciting time of their lives.
Line of Duty Death Benefit
In the event of a Line of Duty Death, the family of the deceased will receive up to fifteen thousand dollars.

The Fine Print Nobody Likes

SBCoFFA is a 501(c)(4) organization. Contributions are not tax deductible. We would rather tell you that upfront than have you find out later. What we can say is that the money goes exactly where it says it does.
